Hi I’m Alex and I’m a craftaholic.

 

I first learnt to knit when I was 7 and my granny showed me how to knit a square(ish) coaster as a way to keep me busy during the school holidays. From then onwards I was hooked and visiting Granny meant I could play with the wool and needles and create something new. 

 

Fast forward 20+ years and I was knitting, stitching, sewing, felting, you name it. If it was a craft I’d have a go at it. But it wasn’t until my friends around me started to have families that I turned my hand to baby clothes. And this is how KnitSewSimple was created. 

 

My brand over the last 5 years has grown from gifting to my friends. Selling through Etsy to where I am now, attending markets and baby events to showcase my items and sell to new and expectant mothers who want something that little bit special for the newborns. 

 

I’ve gotten busier over the years too, so I roped in my mum who had recently retired to start helping me fulfil orders especially over the seasonal periods. 

 

Together we hand knit and finish all the items you’ll find here on my website, before I lovingly stitch them up, add details before packaging and sending out to you. 

 

I hope you and your little ones love these items as much as I love knitting them.
